Laboratory UHT and Homogenization for Dairy Trials

Plan dairy research with laboratory thermal treatment, two-stage homogenization and a defined collection boundary using the documented equipment range.

01 / SELECTION NOTE

Separate the variables you want to compare

A dairy trial may compare thermal history, pressure treatment or collection conditions. Use the laboratory UHT/HTST unit for the selected heating, holding and cooling route. Add the separate homogenizer when the experiment requires controlled pressure treatment.

02 / SELECTION NOTE

Record the pressure-treatment sequence

The documented homogenizer has two stages and an adjustable published pressure range. Its stage settings, inlet product conditions and position relative to heating should follow the trial method. Keep the same sampling boundary when comparing formulations or pressure settings.

03 / SELECTION NOTE

Prepare enough product for useful samples

A small batch must cover startup, transitions, collected output and final retained product. Connected equipment adds its own product inventory. Use measured configuration values to plan material rather than assuming the nominal hourly flow equals the required batch volume.

04 / SELECTION NOTE

Define collection and what you will measure

State whether the work requires open research sampling or transfer into a controlled filling cabinet. Thermal processing, container preparation and storage studies have different evidence requirements. Share the intended comparison and sample containers in the enquiry.
