01 / SELECTION NOTE
Define the prepared liquid
Describe the extraction or blending step and the physical condition of the feed supplied to the laboratory equipment. Particles, viscosity and formulation changes affect the configuration discussion. State the liquid condition rather than assuming every preparation uses the same route.
02 / SELECTION NOTE
Record a complete thermal comparison
Use the selected heating, holding and cooling arrangement for the research method. Record actual product conditions alongside setpoints and flow. Keep the collection window consistent so that differences between samples can be interpreted.
03 / SELECTION NOTE
Choose optional air removal deliberately
A vacuum deaerator can be included when the experiment needs an air-removal comparison. Vacuum, feed temperature and flow work together. Measured dissolved oxygen and visible foam describe different observations and should be recorded accordingly.
04 / SELECTION NOTE
Prepare for sampling and changeover
Multiple formulations need material for product transitions as well as the collected sample. Share the number of recipes, available material and collection requirement when discussing the equipment arrangement.
