Make a well-defined equipment choice

Open Sampling vs Controlled Laboratory Filling

Define collection containers, product transfer and preparation when choosing between research sampling and a laboratory filling cabinet.

01 / SELECTION NOTE

State what the collected sample needs to represent

Open research sampling can suit some laboratory comparisons; other studies need a controlled collection workspace. Define the intended analysis, container and handling procedure first so that the equipment discussion addresses the actual boundary.

02 / SELECTION NOTE

A separate cabinet and product connection

The documented filling cabinet uses vertical filtered airflow, glove access and a product-filling connection. A foot-operated pneumatic valve is listed for the described configuration. The thermal unit and filling cabinet are separate equipment items.

03 / SELECTION NOTE

Air classification and product validation are different

The catalogue lists ISO Class 5 / Class 100 for the design configuration. Installed qualification, operating-state verification, container preparation and the product-transfer procedure require their own evidence. The catalogue description alone does not validate a filled product.

04 / SELECTION NOTE

Specify the full transfer arrangement

State the containers, fill access, product temperature and connection boundary in the enquiry. Request the quoted product-circuit cleaning and preparation scope, together with any required qualification or equipment documentation.
