Bring the product state into the brief
Describe soluble and suspended material, pulp or fibres, air content, sedimentation and any ingredients sensitive to preparation history. Identify the formulation and its condition rather than assuming that every juice, tea or functional beverage behaves as a low-viscosity clear liquid.
Set the collection question
A colour, aroma, physical-stability or analytical comparison needs a defined sample point and handling method. Record container type, cooling and elapsed time to analysis. The volume required by the laboratory is only one part of the preparation requirement; startup and transition material also need a named allowance.
Keep process conclusions within the evidence
Choose the desired trial conditions with qualified product and process specialists. The equipment enquiry should establish the proposed operating envelope, measurement record and cleaning requirements. A successful small-batch run does not determine a safe process or shelf-life claim for a different product, package or production installation.
