Repeatability in Small-Sample UHT Trials

Control preparation, configuration, measured conditions and collection so repeated laboratory trials can be meaningfully compared.

Repeat the boundary, not only a setpoint

Use the same formulation preparation basis, equipment path and collection method when those are intended to remain constant. Record ingredient state, mixing and hydration history, feed temperature and elapsed time. A displayed recipe name cannot account for an altered holding assembly or a changed formulation condition.

Compare measured collection windows

Review actual temperatures, flow and pressure during collection, including interruptions and deviations. Match sample handling and analysis timing. Decide in advance which differences are acceptable for the experimental question and which require another run or a qualified interpretation.

Report useful uncertainty

Separate variation in preparation, measurement, processing, sampling and analysis. Repetition can reveal those differences; it does not erase them. Request the instrument and data capabilities needed to make the comparison, and keep conclusions tied to the tested formulation and configuration.
