Describe what the room actually provides
Record access dimensions and the route into the laboratory, working space, maintenance clearances and the locations of services and drains. For electricity, provide the actual available service and constraints. For cooling and water, distinguish measured supply conditions from a nominal equipment rating.
Match services to the configuration
The heating arrangement determines whether the project needs an electrical heating service, steam or another specified utility. Cooling and any additional module have their own supply and return needs. Ask for the proposed connection schedule and allowable conditions rather than assuming all laboratory units use the same services.
Assign each interface
Name who provides connecting pipework, hoses, isolation, drainage, service equipment and installation work. Agree access for inspection and maintenance. Utility interruptions can affect stable collection, so discuss the operational response as well as the physical connection. Final electrical and pressure-system work follows the actual equipment documentation and local requirements.
