State the result at the tested boundary
A laboratory run can reveal a formulation response under a documented thermal path and collection method. Report those conditions alongside the result. A sample label such as UHT does not capture the full history of heating, residence, pressure, shear, cooling and storage.
Identify what changes at another scale
The next installation can change flow distribution, heat-transfer surface, hold behaviour, pressure losses, cleaning, control response and downstream handling. Select the quantities that must be compared and state what cannot be matched. A larger nominal flow is not the only difference that matters.
Plan separate acceptance decisions
Equipment function, product development, an aseptic-system boundary, packaging integrity and shelf life need their own evidence. Use the laboratory record to support engineering discussion and further trials. Do not turn a successful small run into an automatic production release or a universal operating recipe.
